This is the privacy notice for violetashford.com, the author website of Violet Ashford. The site is informational. You can read about the books, find links to where they are sold, and sign up for the newsletter if you would like to. There is nothing to buy here, no comments section, and no advertising or analytics tracking on the page.

What we collect

The only information this site collects directly through its newsletter form is your email address and, if provided, your first name. You provide that information only if you choose to sign up for the newsletter.

The signup form is powered by Brevo, the email service used to send the newsletter. When you submit the form, your information is transferred to Brevo for processing in accordance with Brevo’s Privacy Policy. Brevo may also process standard subscription details, such as signup consent, submission time, and related email-service records.

How we use your email

We use your email to send newsletters from Violet Ashford — news about upcoming puzzle books, release dates, behind-the-scenes notes, and the occasional bonus. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or hand your email to anyone outside of Brevo’s standard processing.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link in the footer. One click and you are off the list. You can also email us at the address below to be removed.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, or third-party content embeds. We do not use the site to track which pages you visit, how long you stay, or where you came from.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles hosting and basic security. As part of that, Cloudflare may briefly process your IP address and may set a short-lived bot-management cookie, such as __cf_bm, to help keep automated traffic out. Children under 13

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, please contact us and we will remove it.

Where we operate

Violet Ashford is based in Texas, United States. This site is intended for a U.S. audience, and any information collected is processed in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., you do so on your own initiative.

Your rights

If you are a resident of Texas, California, or another U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Since the only information we hold through the newsletter is your email address and, if provided, your first name, most requests come down to this: tell us you want off the list, and we will remove you.
